Oxfordshire beekeepers meet each month in the winter season on Fridays, usually at 7.30 in The Coach House at Headington. In summer the meetings are on Saturdays usually and are held at various members' own apiaries.
Non members are welcome to attend a meeting, but will be expected to become paid up members if they wish to return and attend further sessions.
If you wish to know the locations of apiary meetings look on the MEMBERS PAGE. You will, however, require a password to view this page, which will from time to time contain other information for members only .

The badge or coat of arms of the Oxfordshire Beekeepers represents, on the left, the ox crossing the ford, and on the right the three castes of honey bees. Above the bees is a reference to Thomas Nutt one of the original "Apiarian Society" founders, who invented the collateral hive. The thermometer and xxx which he included in his design are shown.
At the top is a nut tree twig, and the motto translates as "I am The Wayside Nut Tree"

Oxfordshire Beekeepers' Association is the present day forum which continues the work of the original Oxford Apiarian Society founded in the early eighteenth century.
Our membership is approximately 120, ranging from novice beekeepers to those with many years' experience.
Members meet on a monthly basis, either at one of our summer Apiary Meetings, or at a lecture or social event during the winter months, to which a speaker is invited.
It is at these meetings that our members gain not only a valuable insight to the craft of beekeeping, but also have the opportunity to benefit from the friendly support of our membership who have a wealth of experience and knowledge.
If you are considering keeping bees, then your first action should be to join us. You can find more facts by looking at our Information Sheet and Membership Form You can print them and if subscribing, then enter your details and send it to our Membership Secretary - details on the application form.
The Coat of Arms, with the inscription: NUX EGO JUNCTA, is derived from the original Apiarian Society and is featured on the Chairman's Badge of Office and on our sweatshirts. There is a booklet available which gives a fascinating account of the history of one of the founders of the original society. A copy can be obtained for £1.50 including postage (UK) from the Secretary.
